These papers are all likely to make very little sense, given that you weren't in the class and therefore didn't read or discuss the same things as I did before writing these. At some point, when possible, I'll link portions of some of the papers to relevant resources online. I think that, if you read through the whole paper, most of these would probably make some sense even without having the same background information.
