Our lovely dorm room, and this is before any of us really started moving out.

My neat little corner

Now without the rug (I'm not sure what apparently spilled across the middle of the floor.)

We were really a bunch of slobs.

This can burst in the fridge like a month earlier.

My dad (looking suitably creepy just out of the main range of the flash), Allison, and her sister Marina, at the Chocolate Café after we had dinner at the Prickly Pear next door.

Me and Allison, just before saying goodbye

Byebye South Quad! (except I was back less than a week later to report for work)

My "new" room used to be my sisters, and as you can see it's kind of an in-between state here.

Perhaps some of the stuff on the walls will come down...

Meanwhile, my old room has become entirely taken over by her stuff, with no remnant of my residency there.

I was a bit wary when my parents said she'd painted the walls orange, but it turned out quite nicely.

Is Buddha holding up the frog, or is the frog attacking Buddha?

Bronte, and the bottom of my sister's prom dress

My sister finishing getting ready for prom (I think it's cool that she took all of an hour to do it, including showering, unlike these people who get their hair done at 10 in the morning and then fear to touch it the entire rest of the day)

A hill near my house

Allegan's riverfront

Mike and Valerie

All four couples who met to have their pictures taken. I'll have to ask my sister next time I see her who everyone is. (I know most of their names, but it probably doesn't matter much to you anyway.)

The four girls

The four guys

My sister and I (apparently I hadn'tchanged my shirt since the previous night or something...)

This tree grew right through the fence, and then they cut it down.

Mike's lizard, before going to the Reverence for Life service at my church

Me and Bronte in the car on the way to church

Every single year there's a llama there.

They're very stupid-looking animals.

Some kid trying to pull the legs off Mike's lizard

Dogs this small, though mildly cute, should not exist.

Humans this small, on the other hand , are okay.

At the end of the service, several people put their kids on the llama's back for a little while.

Ben and Genevieve swing dancing

Can he even see anything?

Bronte wondering why this person even lets that other dog live

Drinking water in the car

Mike playing with little kids at the park in Wayland where we ate lunch

Valerie's had enough of her boyfriend.

Giraffes at the Binder Park Zoo

Other African wildlife of some sort

An Osterich

Some kind of monkey, who turned away just as I tried to take the picture

Then there was too much reflection in the picture.

Then he turned away again.

Finally, I managed to get a satisfactory picture.

I forget the name of this animal, but it started with a D.

The stupid thing was as against having its picture taken as the monkey.

Again, it turned away just as I pressed the button.

Head on, it looks kind of scary.

As you can see, this is some other kind of monkey.

And this is a Red Panda.

The Red Panda again

My room doesn't look quite as nice with all my belongings in it.

I think I get my tendancy to clutter things from my parents, this being their closet.

We were hoping to find some papers I'd written my freshman year of high school, but knew it wasn't going to be easy.

Not only was there all that stuff on the floor, but these bags and boxes contain everything from school pictures to tax returns going back to 1981.

But once we started digging through stuff (and we did end up finding what we were looking for), my mom decided she was going to go ahead and clean the whole closet.

This bird puppet was one of the casualties of that closet.
